Triton is a truly stunning young dog with so much promise in the show ring, working venues and is a fabulous companion.
Triton is our heart-breaker, from the outstanding Harvey x Cricket litter. Both parents are stunningly beautiful, sweet and fun. They love to retrieve and play. Harvey was BISS at the US National in 2018, with Cricket winning BOSS. We are so excited to have such a great pup from this pairing.
Triton is everything we could have wanted with this combination. Beautiful sound body, classic toller type, all kinds of sweet, and naturally easy to train. Big things ahead for this guy!
Triton earns his first working title at 16 weeks of age, acing his Novice Trick Dog exam !
Triton wins CKC Reserve Best in Show at 16 months of age. Our youngest Toller to win at such a high level in CKC competition.
Triton wins his first All Breed Best in Show - December 2021 - ABIDS Dogshow - under judge Will Alexander
He is actively being trained for hunt/field, rally, obedience and show.
Outside of all the show and training stuff, Triton is our best buddy. He accompanies Harvey and I everywhere we go.

Every breeder has a dream. A vision of the perfect embodiment of the breed they love so much. For me that breed is the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. Over the last twenty years I have chased this ideal tirelessly. Proudly Roaneden is home to Canada's Top Winning Tollers! As much as Covid has put a damper on the past years’ activities, we have so much to be excited about. Our up and coming generation of puppies are our best yet! I can’t wait to show them off to the fancy. Triton has been the first of these pups to hit the show ring. With just one weekend in the ring in 2020, he proved he has the genes and heart to love being there. He was awarded back to back Best Puppy in Show wins and Best of Breed over campaign specials at just 6 months of age. Triton, “MBPIS Roaneden’s Sea King NTD” is named to reflect not only the fact that Tollers are bred to retrieve and play in the ocean, but also his descent from greatness. Triton is son of Canada’s Top Winning Toller of all time, Harvey “MBVISS MBISS MBIS MRBIS MBPIS BPISS AmGCH/CanGCH Ex Roaneden’s Int’l Harvester JH WC ROM” who has the record for most CKC All Breed BIS (12), has won 7 BISS ( including 3 Nationals). Harvey was the first Toller to break into the Top 10 Dogs of All Breeds and #1 Sporting Dog, which had previously only been in my dreams. Triton’s dam, “Cricket” “NBOSS Can/Am Ch Roaneden’s Sprngtime Serenade” is also of exceptional quality, finishing both her Canadian and American Championships with group placings from the classes / majors from National wins. Cricket was BOSS ( to Harvey) BOW/BB from the Bred by class at the 2018 NSDTR USA National. WB/BB at the 2017 NSDTR USA National and BOW/BB at 2018 On NSDTR Regional Specialty. Triton is line bred on his grandmother Candy who won the American National in 2015 “NBISS HIT Can/Am CH Roaneden of Great Pleasure CD”. He also picked up a Sporting Group 2nd, and 4th to earn him a spot as #1 Toller in Canada! *June 5, 2021-Tritons' first show of 2021, and it starts with a bang! Triton wins Best of Breed, and goes on to win Sporting Group 2nd. Triton at 8 months is maturing into a really special pup. He is exceptionally beautiful, and has quickly learned the skills required to be a good working / hunting retriever. We are excited to title this young boy in both the show and field venues in 2021.

September 2021 - Nipissing Kennel Club - Triton wins the Sporting Group, and goes on to win Reserve Best in Show. He is the youngest Roaneden Toller to win under such strong Top Dog All Breeds Competition. His future is so bright.
