They are micro-chipped, have had their first set of shots and have been de-wormed every two weeks. We provide 30 days of "Trupanion" pet insurance upon pick up. Roaneden puppies receive their first set of Puppy Classes at our training school www.countryclubforpets.com as a complimentary service. We want to ensure you get the very best out of your puppy. We feel it very important to be able to provide families with support during the pivotal early socialization window. Roaneden puppies are well socialized with people, kids and adult Tollers. We do not ship puppies and all families are required to pick up their puppy directly from our home. Roaneden has been passionate about Duck Tolling Retrievers since 2000 and is home to CANADA'S TOP WINNING TOLLERS OF ALL TIME! We proudly feed Royal Canin Dog Foods. WE DO NOT ADVOCATE FEEDING RAW - our health guarantee will be void if raw food is fed, or any product outside of Roaneden recommendations. Nutrition is a major part of a dogs development and health. Our Goals as Breeders
When we select dogs for our breeding program, there are many aspects we take into consideration. Temperament is first and foremost. Whether our puppies are going to be family pets, or working show dogs, they have to have a sound temperament. Our children are very involved with puppy rearing. This ensures all our puppies are comfortable with children and make wonderful companions.
It is important to us that our breeding dogs meet the breed standard, have exceptional temperaments and are show quality. We proudly have the Top winning Tollers in Canada. Each litter is planned with specific improvements in mind. We have traveled all over the world to bring together the best possible pedigrees and in turn produce the best possible puppies! We have been into Tollers passionately since 2000. We have extensive knowledge of all the dogs in our pedigrees. This translates to our confidence in the quality of puppies we are producing for ourselves and for the families who are blessed with a Roaneden puppy. We do not sell to breeders. We keep the very best breeding stock for ourselves and the rest of our puppies become beloved members of these special families. Our puppies are raised in our house and are well socialized with small children, other dogs, cats and lots of people. ALL our dogs are owner handled and trained. We take great pride in all our dogs accomplishments. Our dogs are regularly hunted over in field and stream. Temperament and Health are priorities for us. It is important that our Tollers are easy to live with, and easy to train. We want our Tollers to be part of the family. All our breeding stock have OFA ( www.offa.org ), OVC or PENN Hip clearances for healthy hips/heart/thyroid, are CERF'd Clear and are Genetically clear / tested for PRA / CEA / JAAD / DM / DE / CP / CLPS/CLAM and CDMC. We are dedicated to keeping the versatility of the breed, in the hopes that the multi-talented Toller won't suffer the breed split that so many great sporting dogs have experienced. Show and working retriever represent one to us. At Roaneden Reg'd our goal is to consistently breed exceptional Tollers. Tollers who excel in the Home as a family companion, in the Show Ring, in the Field or any other Dog sport Venue. We feel it is important to preserve the versatility of the breed. We want our dogs to go from the Show ring to the Duck Blind.
