Finn Dec '09 Proving himself a great hunting companion!

Finn is an outstanding Upland bird dog!

 Finn is an outgoing and confident dog.  He has a wonderful temperment.  There is a whole lot to like about this boy...  His coat is ideal, with good, quality undercoat and correct length, solid bone and excellent angulation. His broad chest and head will be an assett to the breed. He has a nice typey head and flashy markings.  He is well balanced, compact and has correct tailset and carriage.

Finn is hunted over quite extensively during migratory bird season. Upland hunting is one of his favourite things! 

It is our goal this summer 2009 to run some hunt tests with him and show off his skills in the field and add a field title or two to his name!

Finn earns his CKC Companion Dog Obedience title in one weekend.  Feb '10

 Finn is the clown of the family.  He loves to play and has such a unique, funny-guy personality.

Finn is a keen hunting companion in the duck blind and in the field. He is quick to learn and is eager to please.

 Finn is a multiple Group Placing Dog at a young age.  In 2007 he ranked #4 Toller in Canada, following in his Sire's foot prints as one of Canada's Top Tollers.  He is a real showman and is a joy to have on our lead !

Like all the dogs at Roaneden, he is exclusively owner handled and trained.

Finn is a hit at his first dogshow.  At the tender age of 6 months and 1 day old, he is awarded , "Best of Winners" out of a class of 10 tollers to earn a 4 pt major towards his Canadian Championship. 

At 8 1/2 months old, with limited showing, Finn finishes his CKC Championship with another Best of Winners award. 

At 9 months old Finn wins his first Sporting Group Placement.  A Group 4th, under Ontairo Judge, Katherine Grant.

Finn is a Multiple Group placer!  At 18 months, Finn earns a Sporting Group 2nd, under 2001 National Specialty judge, Thomas Nesbitt.

FINN'S AKC SHOW DEBUT!!! January' 07

While on holiday in Florida, Meadow, Finn and I took in three days of  AKC dogshows on the Brooksville Show Circuit.  Finn was along for the ride and for ring experience, as it was the first outdoor show he has even been entered in.  Much to my delight, Finn pulled it together, and displayed the his best showmanship ! He must have been watching his dad, Reid at the last couple of shows...for Finn knew just what to do...

Out of the three shows, Finn went BOW two of the days (RWD the other) and earned a 4pt major and 3 pt major to put his AKC points to 7 with both majors completed!

Finn picks up another AKC point Feb. 07, taking BOS to big sister Meadow.

At the Apple Blossom Cluster in May. 07, Finn earns a 4 pt major taking BOW, and a 2pt WD win putting his AKC point total to 14.

Finn finishes his AKC CH. with a fourth Major, going WD,BOW and BEST OF BREED over Specials, November '07.

Finn at 8 weeks of age has to rank as one of the CUTEST puppies EVER!!!! and doesn't he know it!!!!!!
