Reid has received the US Toller club's ROM "Register of Merit".  This award is presented to dogs who have produced an exceptional number of offspring that are titled Show Champions and Working dogs in the US.

     Reid is a wonderful all purpose dog, meeting all our expections. He has excelled in the Showring, a Multiple Best in Show, Best in Specialty Show winner and Multiple Group winner in Canada, and a Group Placer in the US.  Reid earned his American CH with 4 BOB wins and taking Best of Winners at the NSDTRC USA's first AKC Supported entry October  2003, over a huge class of quality dogs. 

 *Reid was #1 Toller in Canada for 2006. He finished off 2006 Ranking #12 Sporting Dog in Canada, a breed record!!!

 Reid won a Group 2nd at the North American Championship for Dual Titled Dogs held at Cobo Hall, Detroit MI.  This is a black tie event promoting the dual purpose dog.  All dogs competing had to have a Conformation Championship and a working title.

Following in his Dam's pawprints, Reid was awarded Best In Specialty Show, in Brockville Ontario, August 19, 2006.  Reid's daughter Reba, "BPIG CH. Rideau's Rebound to Kylador" was given the Judges Award of Merit, and our Reid daughter, Meadow, CH. "Seastar's Meadow of Roaneden", made the cut for BOB.  With an entry of 67 Tollers, a great win for Sire and get!

Reid is an excellent duck hunter.  He is very steady under the gun, and waits quietly in the blind.   Reid is also a great "toller".  It is always fun to watch a flock be "tolled" in by Reid and his kids playing along shore.   Reid has 3 field titles.  His WC, WCI  (working certificate, working  certificate intermediate) and JH (Junior Hunter).  Reid has been completely owner trained and handled.  All his
field work has been done without the use of force fetching.  He has been easy to train and works to please.

     Reid also dabbles in obedience and agility.  He has 3 agility titles (ADC Agility Dog of Canada, AGN Agility Novice, and  AGI Agility Intermediate), and we are currently working towards his Agility Excellent (AGX).  His Companion Dog (CD) title was earned with 3 straight passes, and a " High Toller in Trial".  We are continuing obedience training as well.
